How do I get to the Viguet's home for the wedding and reception?

The Viguet's home is in Moran. It is about 1 hour north of the town of Jackson. If you are staying in Jackson, head north on US Highway 191 (also called US-89). Turn left onto Buffalo Valley Road. You will drive down Buffalo Valley Road for about 7.5 miles until you reach Yellowstone Trail. Turn right into Yellowstone Trail. Because there is no cell service near our home, we recommend mapping your trip before leaving your hotel.

What is the weather like in Jackson around the end of August?

Warm and sunny with temperatures in the 70s and 80s during the day and in the 40s at night. Though we will have heaters at the wedding and reception, we would recommend bringing a jacket/coat/wrap. The welcome party, wedding, and reception will all be outdoors.

What kind of footwear should I bring?

Both the Welcome Party and the Wedding Ceremony will be held on a grassy lawn, so we would recommend against stilettos.

Where should I stay?

The welcome party will be in Jackson and the wedding & reception will be in Moran. The two towns are about an hour apart. We would recommend staying in either Jackson or Moran.

Are kids welcome?

While we love kids, this is an adults only event.

I have never been at altitude before, what should I bring to be prepared?

Jackson is about 6000ft above sea level and Moran is about 7000ft above sea level. There is greater UV exposure at high altitude and Wyoming is much drier than where most of our guests are coming from. For these reasons, we recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated, sunscreen, lip balm (with sunscreen), nasal saline spray to avoid nosebleeds, a hat, and polarized sunglasses. We also have found that alcohol is more potent at high altitudes and can exacerbate altitude sickness.

What is the dress code?

Welcome Party: Western attire encouraged, otherwise smart-casual Wedding: Formal, though cocktail is very welcome too
