A challenging hike with lots of wild flowers, and scenic lake views. It is located about 40 minutes from both Jackson and Moran. This trail is located in Grand Teton National Park, so you will need to pay the daily entrance fee of $35 per vehicle per day, $70 for an annual Grand Teton pass, or $80 for an annual park pass that can be used at all National Parks. Passes can be purchased at the park entrance.
A easier hike around Jenny Lake with the optional challenge of hiking up to Inspiration Point for great lake view. There is also a ferry that crosses the lake if you would like a shorter hike.
The country's first National Park, it is home to over 10,000 geothermal features and diverse wildlife including bears, wolves and elk. You will need a car to explore the park given its size. Stewarded by Astoria Park Conservancy, Astoria Hot Springs features six different man-made soaking pools filled with natural thermal waters, which are controlled at different temperatures in each pool. Situated within Astoria Park and along the banks of the Snake River, Astoria Hot Springs is one of Jackson Hole’s most unique outdoor experiences and family-friendly activities. Located 20 minutes south of Jackson, WY, past Hoback Junction on Highway 89, across the historic red bridge.
